To RV or not to RV
Over the last few months of lockdown not so much due to the virus but the weather we have been looking at options for outdoor adventures in the spring. We need to make a trip to the midwest to retrieve some stuff and we want to see Zion and other sites over the summer with a trip to Montana before the fall. So we have been researching buying an RV and working on the road this summer. Wow! I guess everyone in the U.S. decided to buy an RV at the same time. The market is a shit show and camp sites are in short supply. Like the housing market right now, the RV market is worth staying away from until this all settles down and people start to realize that this is not the life for them.
So this year will be hiking and tent camping for the season. There is some pretty cool gear on the market and we have good backpacking gear so we will do a bit of disbursed camping on BLM land and weekend off the Jeep and over night trips in our favorite places.
But on the subject of buying the RV this year it is just not in the cards. Maybe a Jeep??
