Breakout!

I know, have been AWOL for the last 9 month. I got sick with pneumonia in July and it took 6 months to recover to the point I could get outside again. I’m still winded easily but not bad enough to keep me in now. Cabin fever is setting in from the last 2 years of exhausting work travel and sickness. Not to mention all this Covid madness. I spent the end of the year gardening because it was the only thing I had the strength to do. Not this year!

Last week we bought another Jeep for our outdoor activities. The Black Dog is our 2022 Gladiator Rubicon project. Named after our Lab Bella and with less that 60 miles we put her through her paces climbing all over the Virginia range and I took a half a wheelbarrow of mud off her. I am slowly accumulating her modifications list for this summer to include a Synergy steering kit, 35” tires, new rims and a bed rack to hold our overlanding gear. Looks like an exciting summer!
